My friend found a dead Barred Owl with a large sucker fish stuck in it's =
talon near spring in cold weather. We presumed it knocked itself out =
trying to fly and land in a tree with such a heavy fish and froze to =
death. Took it to DNR in Middle Musq., not sure what they did with it. I =
never knew they fished either but this one surely paid the price for it. =
Thinking it must have caught the sucker at mouth of the thawed sectioned =
near the brook exit in shallow water, the rest of the lake was still =
froze.

All the best,
Darrell
