Hi Everyone;

In addition to Sandy Hiltz's reporting of Ring-necked Duck and
Peregrine Falcon, I've been contacted by other observers contributing
additions to the Nova Scotia winter list:

Kathleen Spicer - Common Grackle, Common Loon , Northern Shrike,
Common Redpoll, Evening Grosbeak , Yellow-rumped warbler
,White-winged crossbill, Snow Bunting

Johnny Nickerson - Blue-winged Teal, Purple Finch, Yellow-rumped Warbler

Verna Higgins - Brown-headed Cowbird, Red-winged Blackbird

Dorothy Poole - American Robin, Common Loon, Red-winged Blackbird

Rick Whitman and Bernard Forsythe - Northern Harrier, Ring-necked
Pheasant, American Robin & Chipping Sparrow. (Note - Bernard is once
again compiling a personal winter list consisting solely of those
species he encounters on walks from his home.)

I've posted these additions, which bring the total to 81
species. Lots of room for addtions, of course, but a nice
start.   The web page is:

I look forward to your additions to the list.

Good winter birding,

Blake
