Hallo all,
Dave and Jane, here in Norway our local House Sparrow populations often =
go
on the move. This was well illustrated with a flock of 72 birds I was
keeping an eye on. One day they all disappeared. A few days later a =
farmer
phoned me and said that a flock of House Sparrow=92s had invaded his =
barn. I
paid him a visit and counted the flock, there were 68. They stayed at =
the
barn for about 2 month. After that they returned to the first locality, =
I
phoned the farmer and asked about his House Sparrow=92s to which he =
replied
=93they have all gone=94

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year,
Eddie Chapman, Voss, Norway. Blog: =
