Subject: Glaucous Gull

I toured my neighborhood for about an hour this morning. The highlight was a dark juvenile Glaucous Gull on Duncan Reef, along with grey and harbour seals, and about two dozen mixed Great Black-backed Gulls and Herring Gulls. There were about 400+ Common Eiders, a Common Loon(very dark), and a Black Guillemot floating nearby.

At Sambro Harbour there were Iceland Gulls and three more Black Guillemots.
