After some bumps along the way=2C we have settled on the date of Tuesday=2C=
28 December=2C 2010 for the Kingston=2C NS=2C Xmas Bird Count. This is th=
e 43rd year for the Kingston XBC=2C which covers a 24km-diameter circle ext=
ending from Lower Middleton to East Aylesford and from Margaretsville to Ha=
rmony. As with most counts=2C more observers are needed=2C so=2C if you ar=
e interested in joining a field party=2C or you live in the circle and have=
a feeding station that you would like to observe=2C please contact me (e-m=
ail is best) as soon as you can. I would also appreciate hearing of any st=
ragglers=2C winter finches=2C raptors=2C waxwings=2C or other uncommon spec=
ies in the area.
=20
At present=2C the Yellow-throated Warbler still coming to the Youngs' feede=
r in Aylesford is the only rarity that I know of here (at least until we ge=
t a better look at that Margaretsville loon)!

Cheers=2C
