H= e has written many excellent books, and was instrumental in many ways in keeping the Blomidon Naturalists Soc. going. When I first came to the Valle= y he used to regularly host the pot-luck and count at the end of the Wolfvill= e CBC.I last saw him on Sat. afternoon, when he came down the road looking fo= r the Summer tanager in Canning. He used to occasionally wander into my offic= e too, usually with a request for some bird-related anecdote. I know that ove= r many years he made a huge contribution to the Biology Dept. at Acadia. He will indeed be hugely missed.
