Subject: Seven Killdeer

After a couple of morning appointments I took a stroll at Crystal Crescent Beach Provincial Park and found six Killdeer at Mackerel Cove's Beach looking like a family group of two adults and four juveniles. I took a quick look at Sandy Cove's beach and found another adult.

I suspect the horrible weather of central Canada has these late migrants driven east. They were all in excellent condition.
