Please ignore the second paragraph below. It was sent in error and I made =
a mistake. I looked at the wrong receipt and I was not overcharged. My ap=
ologies for making a comment against Shoppers Drug Mart as they were right =
on the money and did not make a mistake. I have not found any proof as to w=
hat they say about other postal outlets outside of the post office as not b=
eing fair. In the past it is always the post office itself who has charged=
 me more. =20

David Walmark told me about a large group of Ring-necked ducks at Hirtle's =
Pond at Kingsburg. Tonight we saw 12 there. David says this is a very low=
number compared to what had been present yesterday.

The following might fall outside of the lines of Naturens=2C but I'll bring=
it in line with saying that I mailed two separate mailings for The Lunenbu=
rg Christmas Bird Count out. I had heard that places like MacKay's Pharmac=
y=2C Shoppers Drug Mart and like outlets do not fall under the same rules o=
f the post office and they can put their own fees and prices on things resu=
lting in our paying a lot more then we would at the actual post office. I'=
ve seen this go both ways=2C but in two recent mailings at Shoppers Drug Ma=
rt=2C dealing with the same individual and with the same size envelope and =
everything being the same=2C with the first set of four envelopes mailed a =
few days ago=2C I was charged 1.00/unit. With the exact same thing last ni=
ght they charged me $1.22 per envelope=2C therefore .44 cents more. It mak=
es one wonder how often we get ripped off with this sort of thing and it sh=
ows that what they say is correct at least with Shoppers Drug Mart this tim=
e around.=20

The blackpoll warbler today was very aggressive towards the pine siskins an=
d the American goldfinches=2C making runs around the feeder at the other bi=
rds and driving them away. When doing this it would open its bill and look=
ed quite fierce. This is the first time I've observed this. The blackpoll=
was going for what looked like niger seed. This was in regards to my earl=
ier report today. =20
