On the noon CBC Radio News, an item mentioned that there have been at
least several (more?) reports of dead or emaciated or living dovekies
that have turned up on shores or even far inland in Prince Edward
Island. Dwaine Oakley (same as on yesterday's Marnoon call-in) was
quoted in saying that such birds should be taken either to the PEI
Veterinary College or to the water quickly.

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville
