Just over a week ago ( Dec 18th) Ava Czapalay saw a small flock (4-5) Pine Grosbeaks at the Inkberry bushes in the back yard. They were feeding on the berries, and going to the little pond under the bushes for water. She forgot to tell me until yesterday, not realizing they were unusual in the city. A new yard bird for 1173 Beaufort .
