Hi Derek & All, Dec 31, 2010
I don't have much time to smell the roses these days so my highlight of the year was on NatureNS; learning about, and getting a copy of, Identifying land snails and slugs in Canada (Grimm et al., 2009).

Happy Ney Year, Dave Webster, Kentville

  Subject: [NatureNS] 2010 Nature observations

  Hello fellow NatureNS participants -

I am inviting everyone to share some of their best fauna/flora observations /stories/hilites from this 2010. Whether you observed it yourself or got it 2nd hand we'd all be interested in hearing/reading about your faunal or floral observation/hilite of the year!

I would like to start out and say that my personal highlite of 2010 was a seldom seen sphinx moth called the Great Ash Sphinx (Sphinx chersis) in SW Nova in Queens Co this past summer. In birding circles this was a "lifer" for me J

  Happy New
