Hi Joan and All:

Jan. 1st was the best yard birding for a long time. The highlights were a
female Cardinal, a white-breasted nuthatch,a Hairy Woodpecker, and a single
Turkey Vulture. We had lots of chickadees, Blue jays, Crows, record numbers
of Mourning Doves (23), Gold Finches, White Throated Sparrows, American Tree
Sparrows, Junco. Nothing too unusual but interesting none the less.

Sorry that i missed the Christmas count, but wasn't aware of which day it
was.

Hope you all have great birding in 2011.
