Allison and I took a trip to Knoydart this afternoon but found no geese. We
continued on to Big Island, where we found approximately 300 Canada Geese
roosting and feeding at the water's edge inside the causeway at the western
end. There could easily have been a different goose amongst the Canadas, but
due to terrain and distance we couldn't make any out. We did however see a
nice juvenile Northern Harrier hunting over the barrens.

Also, on Sunday I birded the loop (in Cumberland County) Roslin -> Pugwash
-> Wallace via the Gulf Shore Rd -> Pugwash via the Sunrise Trail -> Roslin.
Raptors were once again plentiful, with 6 Red-tailed Hawk (5 on the Gulf
Shore Rd), 5 Bald Eagles, 1 Northern Harrier (Gulf Shore Rd) and 1
Rough-legged Hawk in Rockley (a juvenile).
