All:

Although it's beyond grasp in time and space, I have placed a photo of
a Brown Booby at the end of the NS-RBA photos seabirds file. It sat
aboard Hal Whitehead's whale research sloop "Balaena" at The Gully
on 10 August, and was photo'd by Catalina Gomezat.

This is only the third report for NS - one long-ago (extant?) photo
given in Tufts, and a more recent sight record with some details more
recently.

Our only Fea's Petrel was also photo'd by the same vessel at the Gully
some years ago. Clearly there's an under-explored frontier of birding
out there.

Cheers, Ian

Ian McLaren
