Birds of special interest seen the past few days have been:

January 26=2C 2011
Peregrine Falcon Grand Pre=20
Northern Harrier Grand Pre

January 29=2C 2011
Northern Flicker Sheffield Mills
Great Blue Heron Sheffield Mills (previously reported by Terry Boswell)
Both birds were seen flying by the Eagle Watch area on Middle Dyke Rd.=20

January 30=2C 2011
Horned Larks Windsor Forks
Northern Mockingbird Evangeline Beach

January 31=2C 2011
Killdeer (5) Bayswater Beach

Thanks to all the volunteers who put in their time and effort towards the E=
agle Watch Weekends. There was a great turnout for this first weekend with=
photographers and watchers coming from various places throughout Atlantic =
Canada as well as Ontario=2C Quebec...and I expect other locations as well.=
The eagles didn't really care that we were all there and chose to remain =
in the trees for most of the time but I guess that just means they aren't t=
oo hungry and that's good for the eagles. Thanks Jim W for your online rep=
orts throughout the weekend.
