The following was also reported to the BNS ListServe on Nov. 3, 2010.
This was the identical spot to the 2009 observations. Several later
visits were negative.

"Bernard Forsythe and I found 2 Sandhill Cranes this morning at North
Grand Pre. They were in the same field as they were usually in last
year, that is, on the S side of East Long Island Road (the road to the
Guzzle or East Point), west of #629 Long Island Road. They are in a
grassed field but were far back, close to the corn, and can more or
less disappear when they step down into the lower areas. Sometimes you
just see a head."
