All:

Marlene York has sent a photo of a VARIED THRUSH that has appeared in
recent days at their feeders in Seaforth, HRM. I believe this is a
first this winter, and qualified for the winter and DOW lists. It
appears to be of the usual subspecies _meruloides_, probably from far
NW Canada,

I have placed Marlene York's photo at the end of the "Other
Passerines" folder in NS-RBA photos.

Cheers, Ian

Ian McLaren
