All:

Passing by the head of the Northwest Arm, Halifax, today I saw an  
adult male Harp Seal hauled out near the edge of the firm ice. The  
black "saddle"on the back was easily seen. We don't usually get adults  
here - mostly spotted, year-old "beaters."
