Naturalists meeting on Tues. Mar. 1. The weather looks like it will clear early tomorrow so the meeting should procede but with a slight adjustment of starting time. The starting time was inadvertently advertised in the media as 7 p.m. Thus we will honour the advertised time and start at 7 instead of 6:30. Join us tomorrow night to be transported out of the snow to Belize where we can learn more about this more temporate Central American country. cheers Ken The next presentation of the Pictou Co. Naturalists Club will be "A Voyage to Belize: a look at its civilization and natural history", Tues. Mar. 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the New Glasgow Public Library Community Room, New Glasgow,Nova Scotia (map) Join Catherine Tetu and Ross Hall as they share their adventures in an illustrated talk on Belize. Photos and points of interest include birds and wildlife, the tropical rainforest, natural parks, and a visit to a Mayan village. ( Bet there will not be many shots of snow!)
