Point Pleasant Park, Halifax

There were six Purple Sandpipers on the rocks in front of the
Bonnaventure Anchor this morning at 10:30 - I posted several pictures in
my online gallery at
http://scranlocker.smugmug.com/photos/swfpopup.mg?AlbumID=15878194&AlbumKey=p5bYD

There were also 11 Red-breasted Mergansers floating just offshore at
Black Rock Beach along with numerous Am. Black Ducks and a few
Mallards. Not much else was around, probably due to the strong cold
wind from the SW.
