The Great Horned Owl (I assume the same one) is currently trying to sleep at
MSVU while being harassed by crows, a raven, chickadees and downy woodpeckers.
This time it's in plain view in a maple at the parking lot adjacent to the Seton
Annex (Number 10 on this map:MSVU map) on the side of the parking lot opposite
the Basin. No idea if it'll stay around today, considering the attention from
the mobbing birds. The raven was particularly bold, landing on the same branch
only a few feet away and pecking aggressively at the branch in the owl's
direction while the owl just looked at it in what I can't help but describe as a
condescending way.
