On April 21 two stamps will be issued to mark International Year of the Forest. The stamps make one design, with the upper stamp in the pair looking up towards the crown of a tree while the lower stamps shows plants on the forest floor. Both carry the P denomination so will always me vaild for the first -class rate. They are available in a book of 8 "peel and stick" stamps and a souvenir sheet of 2 "lick and stick" stamps. May 19 is the date of issue of single 59-cent stamp to mark the 100th anniversary of the worlds' first national park service, which now goes by the name f Parks Canada. The design features a hiker looking into a mountain valley with a river while an eagle soars overhead. They will be availabel as a book of 10 "peel and stick" stamps.
