If anyone knows her personally and can call her by telephone to tell her this (email to her account will be intercepted by whoever has seized control of it) she should be made aware of this ASAP. a. If she can log into her account she should change the password immediately to something that cannot readily be guessed. b. If she cannot (people involved in this kind of identity theft will frequently change the password after hacking the account so as to intercept incoming email) she should notify Yahoo administration immediately and take steps to regain possession of her email account.
