   There will be an important open house on the future of downtown =
Dartmouth that may be of interest to some NatureNS folks. The event will =
be hosted jointly by HRM and the Waterfront Development Corporation.
   Presentations will include one on current planning and design =
initiatives for various parks and trails, including the Dartmouth =
Common, Sullivan's Pond, and the Harbourfront Trail.
   The Shubenacadie Canal Commission will present information on its =
plans for the Shubenacadie Canal Greenway, including improvements to the =
canal and the former Star Manufacturing site along Prince Albert Road.   =

   Moreover, there will be information on the upcoming Dartmouth Cove =
Comprehensive Planning Study, involving a waterfront area that is =
starting to change from industrial to residential use..=20
   The open house will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 6:30 - 9 PM, in =

Dartmouth.
