Hi All:

We had our first Chipping Sparrow of the season yesterday. No sign of the
three(1F. and & 2 M. ) Yellow-bellied sapsuckers lately. The maple is
running lots of sap and they haven't come back for it after being here a
number of days. The squirrels have been licking it up though, which I had
never noticed before.

Have been seeing a number of Turkey Vultures in the area as well as a lot of
Great Blue Herons and Brown Headed Cowbirds. While out fishing to the west
of Seal Island, my husband had a warbler come aboard his boat, although he
couldn't ID it.

ON a trip to Digby last Saturday, there was a Snowy Egret in a pond along
HWY 101, on the outskirts of Yarmouth. Other good 101 sightings that day
were the Osprey on the power line nest and a lovely Red-Tailed Hawk.

Happy Birding
