Hello all,

Found this weird insect of some sort, could not find anything to confirm =
an ID so wondering if any of you folks could help me out.

It's head retracts, in the second image of it you can see it's head half =
way out. It's about 2.5 cm in length and very slow moving, found it on =
my lawn while looking at some ants and just happened to see it.

Crazy looking critter, click on image to get a larger version and then =
maybe increase you browser to 125% or 150% to get an even larger view.

On the bird scene, many tree swallows are coming in now, ospreys, loons =
all over. Never seen any warblers yet.

All the best,
Darrell
