Correction please: 'Sunday, Apr 30' should have been 'Saturday Apr 30' and
today is May 3, not May 2.

Dear All, May 2, 2011
In North Alton on Sunday, Apr 30, I looked at a patch of Trillium
erectum because several blossoms were just starting to open.

This morning, a clear majority of the plants of flowering size (18 of
30) in this patch had been chewed off (roughly just below the leaves so I
suspect deer). I don't recall having seen this before.

Yt, Dave Webster, Kentville
