I suspect that interaction was over young or food resources, have seen that
go both ways.

Perhaps this might have been the situation with this attack by these crows
upon this squirrel? The chase went on for several minutes until the
desperate squirrel was able to escape into the chain-link enclosure that
contains the canoes and kayaks.
