Hi DaveMy memory of potatoes =A0- dim as it is - of those days was picking =
bugs was a chore. We then used Blackleaf 40 - a concoction made by soaking =
tobacco leaves in water. The Bordeaux mixture was then used to prevent late=
blight. Very effective as a spray I might add but tended to plug the spray=
nozzles so spraying was a slow process. By omitting the lime, the copper s=
ulfate alone killed the tops so was effective against late blight that rott=
ed the tubers. I think these things are still allowed for organic growers.P=
rehaps Blackleaf 40 would work against these beatles?Paul

Picking them did work for us here in Wolfville, although we =0A didn't hav=

I think I might just pull them up and replant them on a dog =0A walkin=
