SWIFTS rapidly dive into the RTNC chimney and 3 more fly by and away at 8:15 p.m. I never saw the latter 3 go into the chimney, but I was not fully attentive during my entire watch (brief noddings); thus I will record my total as 6+ swifts. Sunset tonight in the Herald newspaper was 8:32 p.m. Short vigils on May 10,11,&12 by myself produced no sightings of swifts, but a few swifts could have been here and inside the chimney. Thus a zero does not necessarily denote an absence of swifts.
