I made the run to Blandford this morning and found and photographed the Summer Tanager in awful conditions, both for photography and for personal comfort. I've posted three photos on my website and in my journal: http://hanstoom.com/StockPhotos/Birds/SparrowsToFinches2/0120.html and http://hanstoom.com/StockPhotos/Birds/SparrowsToFinches2/0135.html

The female Indigo Bunting continues to make itself at home here in Portuguese Cove. It now feeds north of the house in the hollow, at the platform feeder at the front on the house and on the bed rock beside the pond in our back yard.

There is more detail about my rather sad recent trips in my journal: http://hanstoom.com/Journal/Page3.html
