Hi Jim and all
Here are the results for the Swiftwatch May 29 at Temperance St. school in =
New Glasgow. There were about 20 people present in front of the school. Fir=
st entry of 5 was 9:02. Most went in 9:04-9:05 but there were stragglers ti=
ll 9:17. Up to 9:12=2C 228 went in=2C but around that time 9 came out and a=
fter that only 4 were observed going back in. There was quite a bit of clou=
d cover and getting dark by that time and the missing birds may have entere=
d unobserved by me.=20
So my total of 228 does not include the -9 0r +4 from after 9:12.=20
A puff of smoke was seen at 8:46.=20
Since the Sat. meeting=2C a number of people have been coming up saying the=
y have been checking for other chimneys in the area. A number of candidate =
chimneys hvae been mentioned but as far as I know=2C they have not been che=
cked at dusk yet=2C but a project for the future.=20
