Bobolinks have been reported not found as often as found, I believe. I found
my first for this year just east of the Wolfville sewage lagoons, somewhat
closer to the little barn at the T-intersection on the dyke road than the
lagoons. There were 3 lined up along a long "pond" at right angles to the
dyke and one east of these. if you walk the dyke to 394628 4995262 you are
sure to hear them. Safest access is walking the dyke or the dyke road from
Wolfville.

Directly opposite the sewage lagoons, on the shore, was one Black-bellied
Plover in breeding plumage, 2 Willets, another plover and 3 peeps. Willets
can always be seen right at Wolfville "harbour" but the location of these 2
speaks more to late migrants. These shorebirds were all waiting out high
tide at 13:20, which is always a good time to visit this specific location
late summer and all fall.
