Hi folks,

I have a colleague at the University of Montreal who is conducting
genetic research on Lily Leaf Beetles. He is looking to find 30-40
beetles from a site in the Maritimes that can be analyzed for their
DNA. I have very few beetles now appearing here in my garden. Is there
anyone who still has substantial numbers of them who would be willing
to assist him?

If so, please send me an email and I'll send you the collecting
protocols and put you in touch with him directly.

All the best!

Chris

Whenever I hear of the capture of rare beetles, I feel like an old war-
