Hi folks,
Some recent Kentville observations of note:

*Sunday, 6 Jun, around 8 pm*: at least 3 CHIMNEY SWIFTS buzzing around over
Miner's Marsh, Kentville (no luck tracking them), and at least 3 SORA
calling from within the marsh

*Monday, 7 Jun, around 7:30pm*: a new one for the yard list: a fantastic 15
minutes of a GREAT-CRESTED FLYCATCHER singing from the canopy of some maples
in our back yard (Forest Hill Rd, Kentville). Unlikely that he will stay
here, but, based on the Atlas, this area is the hottest spot in Nova Scotia
to find them: of only 25 squares reporting them in the 2nd atlas, 5 are
local (Kentville, Wolfville, Greenfield, South Alton, Murphy Lake).

Cheers,
James.
