And just yesterday, Fred Chipman sent me two very nice photos of a single fully-fledged juvenile n. cardinal at his feeder on Kent Ave. in west Wolfville. This juvenile was not attended by any adults or siblings, but Fred thinks its parents are just shy about coming to the feeder.
