Contact the Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute (info@merseytobeatic.ca).
They deal with protecting turtle nests all the time.

Essentially though, I think it involves creating a frame (likely a half
metre square, 10 cm high or so) and hardware cloth on top. Cover the nest,
anchor the frame...monitor for hatchlings, release when hatched.
