Stopped by Big I. this morning and it happened to be very low tide. Lots of
shorebirds present, but spread out. Highlights include:

Inside causeway:

50 short-billed dowitcher

At the end of the road:

3 Red Knot (juv)
1 short-billed dowitcher
3 black-bellied plover
1 white-rumped sandpiper

Other species seen include both yellowlegs, both semipalms, least sandpiper.
One surf scoter in the strait.
