I am late in posting this=2E

On Monday ( Labour Day )while running along Chester Road=2C I stopped fo=
r a snake that had been hit and was dead on the road=2E =

I picked it up ( not very squashed ) to set it in the ditch and was surp=
rised at how blue it was underneath=2E =

The snake was less than a foot long=2C slender=2C dark dark grey- but no=
t black=2C and a beautiful blue underneath=2E

I checked the Natural History Museum website on Snakes in=A0 NS=2C but n=
one there seemed to fit what I found=2E

Any ideas=3F =

There was also many many many many reddish brown furry caterpillars cros=
sing the road=2E They had one speed=2C super fast=2E They were a few cm =
long=2E=A0 And they were on a mission=2E To get to the other side=3F To =
build a cocoon=3F =

Any ideas as to which ones they were=3F There were not the wooly bear=2C=
there was definitely not any black on any of them=2E =

Thanks

Angela in Windsor
