Sep 17, 2011 12:55 PM - 5:00 PM
Protocol: Traveling
12 species

Great Shearwater 951 (likely around 1500 as I only counted what went by on one side of the boat)
Sooty Shearwater 43 (likely low also as I had a hard time to count both species and get accurate numbers when going by)
Manx Shearwater 2 (We actually had four but I only saw two positively myself. I had another but did not get to show it so did
not include it in my stats). These are my stats only and others might have seen more.
Northern Gannet 5 (This number is way low and I admit I was not focused well on numbers of gannets)
Double-crested Cormorant 14
Great Cormorant 17
Broad-winged Hawk 1
Red-necked Phalarope 290 (It was very rough and hard to get an accurate count and keep track of species of phalarope)
Red Phalarope 30
