Many of you in the Halifax/Dartmouth/Bedford area may be interested in the speaker and the topic at the October HFN meeting:
Listening to Nature - Thursday, Oct. 6 - 7:30 PM in the auditorium of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History.
Mother Earth is currently overwhelmed by human population and consumption. Bob Bancroft, President of Nature Nova Scotia, the umbrella group for N.S. natural history organizations, will give an overview of his 56-acre property in Pomquet, focusing upon the results of 36 years of active stewardship working with nature's forces. In addition to the above topic, Bob will also give a brief overview of some of Nature Nova Scotia's current activities.
