The October meeting of the NS Bird Society will take place Thursday, October 27, 2011 NSMNH, 1747 Summer Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, 7:30 p.m. Susann Myers, host to wintering orioles for many years, will give a short presentation on how to help those orioles that decide to stay for the winter. The main presentation will be a joint venture by Terry Boswell, Pam Mills, Nick Honig, and Tuma Young. They recently joined forces and headed to Texas to catch the spring migration. The combination of birders and accomplished nature photographers on one side and birds from north, south, east, and west on the other should make for great presentation. Everybody is welcome to join us
