Peter: Thank you, I appreciate your offer. I=E2=80=99ve replied to you =
off list.
=20
Andy: Thank you. Also, I agree, I have a copy of The Shorebird Guide and =
it is a very useful reference. Something similar for hawks would be =
great.
=20
Bruce: Feedback is very strong for Hawks From Every Angle. Seems like a =

Hi Paul et al:
=20
Nick and I use a copy of "A guide to Hawks Seen In North America". You =
can download a free PDF copy from here:=20
http://hmana.org/silhouette_guide/
as long it is not for commercial use. What I did was download a copy, =
took it to Staples and had it laminated there. Now it sits in the car =
and whenever we see a raptor, we refer to it to try and determine what =
it is. It is by not means a fully guide but it gives us a place to =
start by helping us know the difference between falcons, Accipiters and =
Buteos. It is published by the Hawk Migration Association of North =
American. You can also find a copy of it in Birders World Magazine (Oct =
2010).

Subject: [NatureNS] Book/fieldguide recommendation (Raptors)
Hello,
=20
I=E2=80=99m looking for a recommendation for a book/fieldguide or other =
reference specific to Raptors. In particular that will help with =
identification. I see there are a couple of well reviewed books by =
Liguori (Hawks from Every Angle, and Hawks at a Distance). However, =
there may be others worth considering.
=20
Thank you,
