All our Southern visitors showed up today - N. Cardinal, Red-bellied
Woodpecker, Dickcissel,
2 N. (Baltimore) Orioles male and female. The Dickcissel first showed
up on Sat. Nov 5, and is a nice bright adult female. The immature male
Oriole arrived yesterday, but isn't much of a gentleman, as he chases
the female away from the food. They are demolishing my home-made grape
jelly. The Cardinals I hear more often than see, but they are around
quite a lot. A good-sized flock of Robins passed through first thing
this morning, causing quite a commotion in the woods.
