Bisset Lake and Salt Marsh Trail
I did a turn around Bisset Lake in Cole Harbour this morning to see if
the Ruddy Duck was around - he was not. I then went over to the Salt
Marsh Trail and I found one there! He was floating around close to the
first bridge.
Other birds I noted were:
_Bisset Lake_
Pied-billed Grebe (1)
Greater Scaup (50+)
American Coot (6+) - including a couple of juveniles
American Wigeon (5)
_Salt Marsh Trail_
Ruddy Duck (1)
Black-bellied Plover (3)
Canada Goose (200+)
I have added several pictures, including the Ruddy Duck to my online
