Hi All=2C
There is one case of introduced Spiny Crayfish - Orconectes limosus - in=
to the Freshwater Lake in Ingonish around 2002. The theory is it was introd=
uced by either fishermen using it as bait or someone emptying a fish tank. =
The Park is monitoring the situation closely and have banned fishing in the=
lake until they can=2C if possible get eradicate the species here. There m=
ain worry is will spread to other local lakes.
   Check out http://www.projectufo.ca/drupal/Spinycheek_Crayfish for furthe=
r info. All the best=20
