I was telling a friend about the GHO in the cemetery and she remarked that they
had had one over Thanksgiving.. No they didn't eat it but it was hooting just in
back of their condo on the Bedford barrens. It was very busy so they had
enough time to bring up owl calls on their computer and ID it that way. She felt
that it had young as well from the demanding sounds being made.
Maybe the same owl? or daddy owl.
Be nice to count one on at least one of our Christmas Bird counts.
