Hi All
Yesterday I had a meeting in Keji.
It was such a nice morning I went early and walked to McGinty Lake.
The trail is no longer kept up but it is lovely.
Fallen trees in spots=2C bushes growing in from the sides.
Just like a trail should be but maybe not for everybody.
It took about an hour to get to the lake and I stopped there for 5 minutes
or so to look over the lake and eat an apple.
After I turned and came back I hadn't gone 150 m when I came across
a buck scrape that had been made while I was at the lake.He had made the mo=
ss
fly and right in the tracks I had made on the way in. I didn't see him but =
he
saw me and didn't like me near his does.
There was a lot of other ground scrapes on the trail always under a branch=
=20
 - in places he had rubbed his horns on the ground. No tree scrapes though=
.
Other than one chickadee the only birds I saw were 8 - 10 ruffed grouse
warming up in sunny spots. Dragon Flies were still out as well.
Enjoy the fall
Paul
