Paul, it isn't a question of tearing down posts. We are only commenting on replies to individuals that are posted to the whole group. I too enjoyed the original postings re photos and I do occasionally send my appreciative comments directly to the sender.

Well you seem like a bad humoured lot to night.
I delete lots of posts but it doesn't make me tired.
Good to see some people appreciate posts - mostly this
group specializes in tearing them down.
Don't you Jim?
Have a nice fall and try to get up on the right side of the bed tomorrow! lol
Paul

I agree Jim. I am tired of deleting people's personal thanks for sharing pictures or whatever. Keep it offline.

Thanks, Paul, for actually naming your locale -- even just a general idea will suffice, as I know you like to keep your sites a bit private. On another note, I must be feeling crotchety today, and this may irritate Doug Linzey to the point of kicking me off the list. PLEASE, everyone, send your compliments to the sender instead of the whole list of us. Check the top line before you send, and change the subject line if needed, including spelling! Thanks for your patience with me. Cheers? from Jim in Wolfville

  Hi All
Yesterday I had a meeting in Keji.
It was such a nice morning I went early and walked to McGinty Lake.
The trail is no longer kept up but it is lovely.
Fallen trees in spots, bushes growing in from the sides.
Just like a trail should be but maybe not for everybody.
It took about an hour to get to the lake and I stopped there for 5 minutes
or so to look over the lake and eat an apple.
After I turned and came back I hadn't gone 150 m when I came across
a buck scrape that had been made while I was at the lake.He had made the moss
fly and right in the tracks I had made on the way in. I didn't see him but he
saw me and didn't like me near his does.
There was a lot of other ground scrapes on the trail always under a branch
   - in places he had rubbed his horns on the ground. No tree scrapes though.
Other than one chickadee the only birds I saw were 8 - 10 ruffed grouse
warming up in sunny spots. Dragon Flies were still out as well.
  Enjoy the fall
  Paul
