Highlights from a day afield in the Dartmouth/Cole Harbour area with 
Ian McLaren and Jim Edsall.

Orange-crowned Warbler and Am. Tree Sparrow - Hartlen Point, in the 
knotweed near the Willow Tree on the beach.

Gadwall (male) and Great Blue Heron - Cow Bay Pond (off Silver Sands Beach)

Ring-necked Duck (pr) and 27 Lesser Scaup - De Said Lake

26 American Coots and 4 Ruddy Ducks - Bissett Lake (no sign of the 
Canvasback, Redhead, or Tufted Duck)

2 Brown Creepers by the Bissett Lake parking lot

1 Field Sparrow behind the Cole Harbour Funeral Home (no sign of the 
Wilson's Warbler)

2 Eurasian Wigeon with 80 American Wigeon in Red Bridge Pond

1 western Palm Warbler with 10 Yellow-rumped Warblers along the road 
from the Rainbow Haven PP parking lot.

1 Northern Mockingbird on a house in Rainbow Haven leading to the Skeet Club.
